The land-based and sea-based TT&C communication websites of this Shenzhou 5 mission mainly include three command and control centers, 10 TT&C station and four Roy survey ships. Six satellites deployed by the International Satellite Organization and Asia-Pacific Company over the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean are used as communication support to complete the transmission and exchange of measurement and control information and data of launch vehicles and spacecraft.
The main landing site is located in Gulang Grassland, A Mu, west of Tara, Sai Han, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Spacecraft search and recovery tasks include radar and measurement and control station in front of the main landing site, air search unit (equipped with helicopter) and ground search unit (equipped with 10 special vehicle).
