Qingguo Lane is located in the south-central part of the old city of Changzhou, with the ancient canal in the south, Zhengsu Lane in the east, Jinling Middle Road in the west, Nanjie Commercial Center in the north and the ancient village in the whole block. The whole block is about 400 meters long from east to west and 200 meters long from north to south, covering an area of about 8.7 hectares. Qingguo Lane is dominated by buildings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Republic of China, with famous houses, temples and historical sites in Qiaofang.
It is a "living fossil" of Changzhou's national historical and cultural city, showing the street form of "the north and south of the river, the street runs through the east and the west" and the Jiangnan charm of "Gu Xiang is secluded and people sleep by the river". Qingguo Lane is a place with Changzhou context. The style of writing rose in the Tang Dynasty, where elegant families lived together and the book was full of ink. It has produced nearly 100 imperial examination talents and a large number of modern celebrities, covering politics, literature, art, education, industry, science and many other fields, and is known as "the first lane of celebrities in the south of the Yangtze River".
