Jiangmen Museum, also known as Jiangmen Wuyi Overseas Chinese Museum, is a state-owned comprehensive museum at the prefecture and city level, which is affiliated to Jiangmen Culture, Radio, Film, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Guangdong Province.
1985 In May, Jiangmen Museum was formally established as a permanent professional cultural relics management institution of the government. The museum is located in Chen Baisha Memorial Hall and manages Chen Baisha Memorial Hall. Today, Jiangmen Museum is in charge of Chen Baisha Memorial Hall, Jiangmen Wuyi Overseas Chinese Museum, former residence of Diaoyutai and former site of North Street Railway Station of Suning Railway.
By the end of 2008, there were more than 30,000 pieces of various cultural relics, of which overseas Chinese cultural relics accounted for about 90%. Chen Baisha Memorial Hall
Chen Baisha Memorial Hall is located at No.37, Baisha Avenue West, Pengjiang District, Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, covering an area of/kloc-0.8 million square meters, with a total construction area of about 3,800 square meters. It is a quadrangle-style memorial hall for historical celebrities with the protection of ancient buildings in the Ming Dynasty as the main body. In addition, Chen Baisha Temple was awarded the eighth batch of national key cultural relics protection units in 2004.
