Many people may feel that they have missed Weilai. If you choose Polaris and Guangzhou Automobile Weilai, it is not the best choice. But in fact, careful analysis will reveal that Beijing also has its own considerations. When choosing between Weilai and Polaris, Weilai is the most difficult moment, and there are still many unknowns in the future. On the other hand, Polaris looks more reliable and less risky than Weilai, who wants to "extend his life by blood transfusion" at any time, whether relying on Volvo or Geely, or self-built factories or products that have been mass-produced.
As for whether we really join hands with GAC Weilai, it may indeed be regarded as a backup plan of "mending after the sheep is dead". With the current development momentum of Weilai, Beijing chooses to establish contact with Weilai in another way, which may not be able to recreate Weilai, but it is also a good attempt to create another car-making model. However, it needs to be clear that GAC Weilai and Weilai are not the same thing, or even completely different.
