According to the market changes, the research and engineering department of pressure vessels and chemical equipment was established in 1996, mainly engaged in the research and development of safety engineering technology of pressure vessels and pipelines. There are more than 80 engineers, including 23 professors, 4 senior engineers/kloc-0 and 2 engineers/kloc-0. There are 5 doctors and 8 masters. Compressor specialty was established in 1956, which belongs to two rooms (compressor, pump and fan). In the early 1960s, the compressor research office was established, and the compressor branch was established in199/kloc-0. In 2005, it was renamed as the compressor research institute. Mainly engaged in new product design and development, new technology development, compressor parts research and basic technology research, compressor industry standardization, as well as quality supervision and performance testing of compressor products nationwide.

At the end of 1950s, we cooperated with industrial factories to design and manufacture the first L-type power air compressor in China. In 1960s, the compressor industry was organized to jointly design a series of stationary air compressors. Independent research and development of piston air compressors, square cylinder air compressors, small and miniature air compressor series, fixed and mobile screw air compressors and compressors for chemical and petroleum processes.

The major of packaging machinery was founded in 1960s. It's a one-room unit in the General Hospital. At first, I mainly engaged in the design and research of non-standard mechanical equipment in the chemical industry. 1980, the packaging machinery research room was established in our hospital. During this period, the packaging machinery laboratory has also received strong support from superiors. The specialty of heat exchanger was established in 1964, which was originally the heat exchanger group of the first laboratory. 1978 and 1988 were established as heat exchanger research rooms twice. 65438-0998 heat exchanger major entered the major of storage, transportation and heat exchange in petrochemical equipment engineering. In 2005, a special equipment design and production department was established with heat exchanger professionals in the whole hospital as the main body.

The specialty of heat exchanger has made remarkable achievements in scientific research and application. The first corrugated pipe heat exchanger and the first anti-corrosion coating heat exchanger in China were all inserted with soaring wings from the heat exchanger laboratory. The types and basic parameters of fixed tube-plate heat exchanger, the types and basic parameters of vertical thermosyphon reboiler and the manufacturing technical conditions of shell-and-tube heat exchanger played an important guiding role in the equipment selection of early petrochemical plants in China.

Completed the series renewal of air-cooled condensers, experimental research on thin tube plate of fixed tube-plate heat exchanger, development of large detachable spiral plate heat exchanger and pin-fin oil cooler.
