Introduction of Lajiasi Yellow River Highway Bridge?

Laga Temple Yellow River Highway Bridge is located in Gongjun Township, Maqin County, Qinghai Province and Hebei Township, Tongde County, about 1km away from Laga Temple. Lajia Temple, located in the hinterland of Ameligon in the northeast Yellow River Canyon of Tongde County, was built by Bagsy Ethel of Lajiang during the Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty (1769). "Laga" is a transliteration in Tibetan, which means four elephants, that is, elk. It is said that when the temple of Laga broke ground, four elephants were found, so this temple was named after it. In its heyday, there were nearly 1, 300 monks. In the early 1950s, there were 12 temples covering more than 40 hectares. It is the most famous gelug sect monasteries along the Yellow River and one of the eight famous Buddhist temples in Qinghai Province. The whole temple is surrounded by mountains and waters, with the Yellow River in the south, and the environment is excellent. Temple architecture not only has the characteristics of Tibetan Buddhist temples, but also has the architectural style of Han quadrangles, which is similar to the architectural style of classical gardens in the Central Plains. It enjoys a high reputation in the historical development of Buddhism.

The Yellow River Ferry near Lajia Temple is an ancient ferry. Historically, it was the only way for Qinghai Guoluo herdsmen to reach Guide, Huangzhong, Xining and other trade distribution centers, and it was also an important trade channel for animal husbandry areas and agricultural production areas on both sides of the Yellow River. Therefore, it is called "Laga from Mu Lan" (namely Laga Trade Road). 1986, a Jiasi Yellow River Highway Bridge with reinforced concrete structure was completed and opened to traffic here, which greatly facilitated cross-strait trade. Cars are coming and going, so lively.

Lajiasi Yellow River Highway Bridge has a length of 220.58m, a deck width of 7m, a main span of 10 hole, a span of 20m, and a design load grade of steam -20.
