According to the requirements of domestic unification, the Embassy of China in Argentina began to implement the new regulations for China citizens to renew their passports and travel permits in Argentina from 20 19 65438+ 10/day. Compared with the original provisions, the contents are adjusted as follows:
1. Applicants who come to the library to apply for a replacement passport can hold residence permits or work and study visas, as well as medical cards, social security cards, bank statements, rent, fixed telephones, utilities and other bills.
2. All applicants for passport replacement should fill in and submit a declaration of nationality status. The template of this statement has been posted on the website of the embassy. Applicants can download it in advance or fill it out on the spot when applying in the library.
3. To apply for a passport replacement for minors and a travel permit for children born abroad or in an international marriage, only one parent (or another legal guardian) needs to be present and sign to apply for a passport.
It should be specially reminded that if the applicant stays in Argentina for less than 180 days and does not have any of the above-mentioned relevant materials to explain his stay in Argentina, he should still apply for a travel permit.
