Hongfu Temple Brick Pagoda was built in the 45th year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (1566). It is an octagonal five-story pavilion-style brick tower, built in Jin and Yuan Dynasties, with a total height of 18m and a height of19.5m. The tower foundation is square stone Sumitomo, which consists of three parts: the bottom layer is cubic with stone edges; The middle layer is a cube smaller than the bottom layer, and there are coupon holes in the south. You can reach the top of the tower by stepping on the revolving stairs. The third part is built with carved brick railings, and the three layers of lotus petals in the railings support the tower. The technology of the tower body is more exquisite, the plane is octagonal, and the eaves of each floor are brick carvings imitating rafters, buckets and other wooden structures. The top of the tower is a pyramid-shaped roof.
In 2004, the brick tower of Hongfu Temple was included in the fourth batch of key cultural relics protection units in Shanxi Province.
