Basic information of Lushan stone fish

Lushan stone fish is transparent and scale-free, and its body length is generally about 30 to 40 mm, which is similar to rust needle, that is, it grows for seven to eight years and its length is no more than one inch, so it is also called rust needle.

Lushan stone fish is called stone fish because it lives in Lushan springs and waterfalls for many years and nests in the cracks in the rocks where the springs and waterfalls flow.

Comb gobies belong to the order Perciformes, gobies, gobies and gobies. Commonly known as: Lushan Stone Fish (Jiujiang County, Jiangxi Province), Spring Fish (Yangxin County, Hubei Province), Wheat Fish (dongzhi county City, Anhui Province) and Qin Fish (Jingxian County, Anhui Province), formerly known as "Sha Ying". English name: Barcheek goby. Slender body, round front and flat back, flat head. The kiss is long, the mouth is wide and big, the lips are thick, and there are rows of furry teeth on the upper and lower jaws. The muscles of the anterior branchial lid are well developed. The head is scaly, and the chest and abdomen are bare without scales. The two dorsal fins are not connected, the front dorsal fin is composed of hard spines, and the back dorsal fin is all soft fins. The ventral fin merges into a sucker shape in the chest. The body color of young fish is slightly white, growing to about 3 cm, and pigment begins to appear. The adult fish is dark gray, with four broad black bifurcation spots on the back, which spread into irregular black spots on the side. Grass carp like to live in sandy soil, gravel, clear water, oxygen-rich ponds, lakes, rivers and streams in shallow water. They usually live scattered in crevices, cling to the stone wall with powerful sucker-shaped ventral fins, and only walk out of crevices when foraging. Adult fish like to jump while blowing, sometimes jumping out of the water, and sometimes jumping from one stone to another. Gobies reach sexual maturity in one winter. From April to May every year, parent fish begin to cluster, and male and female fish play and chase for breeding activities. The female fish flips the sand with her fins and lays eggs in the sandpit. 1-2 cm young fish like to swim against the current. Whenever the water temperature rises to above 22℃ within two or three days after the rainstorm and flash floods fall, and the flood rises sharply and turns sunny, and the flow speed is accelerated, it is convenient for young fish to flood into the river from the lake during the day, gather with young fish in the river, forge ahead upstream along the two banks of the river, and constantly devour aquatic insects and plankton washed down by mountain streams. At night, they sink to the bottom of the water, and are absorbed on the gravel with suction cups or hide in the cracks of stones to rest. Adult fish over 4 cm are unlikely to swim back in groups. Although small, the goby is very greedy and fierce. They often attack smaller benthic fish, or dig and stir bottom sediments with pectoral fins to find benthic invertebrates to swallow. Grass carp is widely distributed in various water systems from the Yangtze River to the Pearl River, but only in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River constitutes a fishery. The goby fish with commercial value refers to the young fish with a body length of 1-2 cm. Shahe, Jiujiang County, Jiangxi Province, is located at the foot of Lushan Mountain. Because of its special shape, delicious taste and unique flavor, it is as famous as Lushan Mountain, hence the name "Lushan Stone Fish". The cockscomb fish in Fushui River, Yangxin County, Hubei Province is called "spring fish" because its fishing season is in late spring and early summer, when all flowers are in full bloom. Zhangxi area in dongzhi county is called "wheat fish" because it is caught in the wheat harvest season and looks like wheat. Legend in Jingxian County, Anhui Province: As far back as the Jin Dynasty, a hermit named "Qin Gao" came to the grotesque Lion Cave to make an alchemy. Dan slag was thrown into the stream and turned into an anticlimactic fish. From then on, every midnight, the tinkling piano will ring in the running water. Later, people named this stream "Xiqin" and the small fish in the stream were also named "Qin fish". Since ancient times, stone fish, spring fish, rice fish and harp fish have all been listed as tributes, so they are also collectively called "tribute fish". Stone fish, except fresh food, are all dry goods as commodities. The usual production method is: after the fish is washed and dried, put it in a pot, dry it with slow fire, stir-fry it with a little cooking oil, take it out when it is golden yellow, dry it for another day, and pack it for the market. Every 5 kg of fresh fish can be processed into 1 kg of dry fish. The cooking methods of dried fish are mostly scrambled eggs, steamed eggs, soup or cold dishes cooked with sesame oil and soy sauce, which has always been regarded as delicious on the table. In Xiqin, Anhui, it is also a rare tea-drinking treasure. Every year around Tomb-Sweeping Day, the local people cooked the caught small fish with salt and boiled water (with fennel, tea and sugar), and dried them with charcoal fire to make dried fish. So far, they still maintain a lifelike state: their mouths are slightly open, their eyes are round and their fins are twisted. Making tea with harp fish is like a fresh fish swimming in a cup. The entrance is fragrant and mellow, and it is full of fun.
