Wan Needless to say,/kloc-0 was born in June, 1964 in Huarong County, Hunan Province. Professor of Hunan University of Science and Technology, director of the Institute of Marine Resources Exploration Technology, and senior engineer at researcher level. Selected in "National Hundred Million Talents Project" and "Hunan 12 1 Talents Project", and received special government allowance from the State Council.
Professor Wan Buyan led the team to realize the revolutionary leap of China's offshore drilling rig equipment technology from scratch and its technical level from keeping pace with foreign countries to leading now, and made outstanding contributions to the implementation of the national maritime power strategy and the maintenance of China's international maritime rights and interests. In 2023, Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China awarded Wan Wuyan the title of "Model of the Times".
