Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine is an outstanding representative of Chinese medicine workers, and the title of "Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine" is the highest honor in the field of Chinese medicine. On June 9th, 2009, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, Ministry of Health and state administration of traditional chinese medicine jointly held the first commendation and symposium of "Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine". Thirty old experts engaged in the clinical work of traditional Chinese medicine (including ethnic medicine) won the honorary title of "Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine".
This is the first time since the founding of New China that China government departments have selected national-level TCM masters nationwide.
