Geological survey of groundwater and ecological environment in western Songliao plain

I. Summary of contents

The western Songliao Plain is one of the areas in the geological survey of groundwater and ecological environment in the main northern plain basins, which is deployed by China Geological Survey, undertaken by Shenyang Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources, and participated by Geological Survey Institutes of Liaoning Province, Jilin Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The western part of Songliao Plain refers to the hilly area of Yanshan Mountains in western Liaoning bordering Inner Mongolia, and the hilly area in the eastern foot of Daxing 'anling bordering northwest Jilin. The availability of surface water in this area is poor, and the distribution of groundwater is uneven, which is a serious water shortage area. The main results of this project are as follows.

1. Find out the hydrogeological conditions in the west of Songliao Plain.

The working area is located in the Yanshan Mountains and the low hills in western Liaoning and the middle and low hills and terraces at the eastern foot of Daxing 'anling Mountains. Geological structure is located at the intersection of Tianshan-Yinshan giant east-west complex structural belt and the second subsidence belt and the third uplift belt of Neocathaysian structural system. In different periods, the strata are completely exposed, but the development degree is different; Hydrogeological division is divided into two hydrogeological areas: the middle and low mountain and hilly platform at the eastern foot of Daxing 'anling Mountain and the low mountain and hilly area in western Liaoning of Yanshan Mountain. Groundwater types include bedrock fissure water, carbonate karst cave fissure water, clastic rock pore fissure water and loose rock pore water. The main types of water storage structures in this area are horizontal rock water storage structure, folded water storage structure, fault water storage structure, contact zone water storage structure and bedrock weathering crust water storage structure.

2. The recharge, diameter and discharge mechanism of groundwater are studied by isotope technique.

Based on the isotope test results, the recharge, runoff and discharge conditions of groundwater are studied and analyzed. The results show that there are different sources of groundwater in the hydrogeological area of middle and low mountains and hills at the eastern foot of Daxing 'anling Mountains, but all of them come from recent atmospheric precipitation. The annual average temperature of groundwater is between 3.2℃ and 6.8℃, which shows that groundwater is formed under the climatic conditions slightly lower than the modern annual average temperature, and it is replenished by atmospheric precipitation. The elevation of the replenishment area is about 525.3 1 ~ 960.2 m, which is consistent with the elevation of Daxinganling. The age of groundwater formation is between 3.26 ~ 10.6a, that is, the groundwater in this area is formed at 199 1 year, which indicates that groundwater runoff is relatively slow.

3. The water resources evaluation research was carried out, and suggestions for the sustainable development and utilization of groundwater resources were put forward.

The types of groundwater shortage in this area can be roughly divided into resource-based water shortage, water-based water shortage, economic water shortage, technical water shortage and resource-based water shortage. The reasonable selection of parameters, the evaluation of groundwater resources by water balance method, the research and discussion of groundwater development and utilization mode, the direction and method of water exploration, and the suggestions of sustainable development and utilization of groundwater resources are put forward, which is of guiding significance to the direction of water exploration in water-deficient areas.

4. Adhere to the combination of comprehensive research and typical demonstration, and implement typical demonstration projects.

On the basis of hydrogeological investigation, geophysical exploration and comprehensive analysis, six key demonstration areas were selected, covering an area of 30,000 km2, and 32 demonstration water supply wells were drilled, with a total water output of 19630.34m3/d/d, which can solve the drinking water problem of about 90,000 people and 50,000 livestock in water-deficient areas, irrigate more than 20,000 mu of cultivated land, and have typical demonstration significance for finding water in water-deficient areas.

5. The information integration of hydrogeological data in western Songliao is realized.

Using GIS technology, the software system of hydrogeology spatial database in the west of Songliao Plain was independently designed and developed, and the hydrogeology spatial database in the west of Songliao Plain was established, which realized the information integration of hydrogeology data in the west of Songliao Plain and laid the foundation for the establishment of hydrogeology analysis system and spatial information system in this area.

Second, the scope of application

The results of the project can provide basic data support for local economic and social development, groundwater development and utilization and ecological environment protection, and provide guidance for finding groundwater suitable for drinking in water-deficient areas and drinking-water epidemic areas.
