It is a road vehicle with the sign of special vehicle for the disabled, also known as tricycle for the disabled).

2. Motor wheelchairs are divided into light motor wheelchairs and ordinary motor wheelchairs (motor wheelchairs with a nominal gasoline engine displacement of less than or equal to 50ml are called light motor wheelchairs. Motor wheelchairs with a nominal displacement of gasoline engine greater than 50ml and less than or equal to 150ml are called ordinary motor wheelchairs).

3. The starting, throttle, braking and other control devices of the motorized wheelchair should be controlled by the driver's upper limbs.

4. Motor wheelchairs should be equipped with lower limb protection devices.

5. The driver's seat should have a backrest and a device that can restrict the hip from moving left and right.

6. Wheelchairs should have crutches and be fixed.

7. Portable motorized wheelchairs driven by people with severe lower limbs should be equipped with manual devices in addition to being driven by gasoline engines, so that vehicles can realize evasive short-distance movement.

8. In addition to meeting the requirements of vehicle signs in GB7258, motorized wheelchairs should also have signs for disabled vehicles in obvious external parts.

9. The maximum design speed of motorized wheelchairs should not be greater than 50km/h. ..

10. The overall dimensions of light motorized wheelchairs should not be greater than 2000mm×1000mm×1200mm (length× width× height), and those of ordinary motorized wheelchairs should not be greater than 2500mm×1200mm×1.
