Hunan University of Software Speech Technology is located in Xiangtan City, Hunan Province. It is a pilot school of vocational education at undergraduate level and a demonstration (backbone) vocational college in Hunan Province.
The school's predecessor is Hunan Top Information Vocational and Technical College, which was founded in 200 1. In 2005, Hunan Software Vocational College was established with the approval of the provincial people's government and the record of the Ministry of Education.
