What changes did Hong Xiuquan's attitude towards Confucian classics have in his life, and why did it change?

Change: from the beginning, I was familiar with the Tao of Confucius and Mencius, and later abandoned the Tao of Confucius and Mencius, and Confucianism converted to Christianity, thus rejecting Confucianism.

Hong Xiuquan was born in a farming and reading family. At the age of seven, I went to school in the village bookstore and was familiar with the four books and five classics. However, due to many attempts, Guangzhou Fu, who took the junior exam three times, failed to be elected. After the third unsuccessful attempt in Guangzhou, she was 25 years old. After being hit by this, I was seriously ill and was in a coma for a time. From then on, Hong Xiuquan was taciturn and behaved strangely. At this time, Hong Xiuquan was not satisfied with the failure of the exam. Six years later, in the spring of 1843, he took the Guangzhou Fu exam again, and the result ended in failure.

In the 16th year of Qing Daoguang (1836), Hong Xiuquan received "Advice from Christian Liang Fa" when he was taking the exam in Guangzhou. After careful reading, he was moved by preaching the Christian meaning of God and sprouted the idea of believing in God and pursuing equality for all. Comparing the contents of the book with my hallucinations when I was seriously ill before, I think I was ordered by God to punish the devil, abandoned Confucius and Mencius, stopped being a Confucian scholar and converted to Christianity, and simply replaced the Confucius memorial tablet at home with God's memorial tablet. Although he had never read the Bible, Hong Xiuquan began to spread the Christian doctrine he understood to everyone, calling it "the worship of God".

Reason:

1, Hong Xiuquan took part in the imperial examination, and it worked well. Because of the hopeless career, the failure of the imperial examination forced Hong Xiuquan to find a new way out, and establishing religion became a very natural choice.

2. After the Opium War, the spread of western civilization, especially Christian culture, made Hong Xiuquan have a new understanding of his thoughts.

That's probably all I thought of. Hope to adopt.
