How to catch herring
Black herring is a near-bottom fish, which is close to the same layer as carp. Most of them live in the middle and lower layers and rarely float to the surface. Snails and clams are the staple foods of carnivorous fish and also eat algae and aquatic plants. Artificial feeding is mainly based on bean cakes, bean dregs and various grains.
Most of the wild herring live in rivers, lakes and reservoirs, and there are few waters in Beijing. Most of them are raised artificially.
Selection of fishing gear
Black herring is a big fish, so it's best to prepare another fishing rod when fishing black herring in the wild, in case you catch black herring, and put on another one when the line is about to be pulled out.
To this end, when fishing herring, you should choose a hard-adjusted sea pole of more than 3.6 meters and a big fishing wheel. Line storage should be more than 200 meters, the line diameter should be 0.45 ~ 0.5 mm, if dual-purpose pole is used, the pole length should be more than 5 meters.
Selection of fishhook
Large short-handled hooks such as Ni 1 1 ~ 12 or carp 17 ~ 18 can be used for single and double hooks. If group hooks are used, Yi Shi 5 16 and pill sleeve shapes can be selected. For pond fishing, a medium hard pole of 5-6 meters, a line of 0.3-0.35 and a hook pill sleeve of 7 16 are enough.
Fishing point selection
Most herring live in the middle and bottom, and like to feed in muddy water. Therefore, it can be used as a fishing spot in waters with many snails. There are gravel at the bottom of the water near the emergent plants, which are all good locations. In summer and autumn, we often go to shallow water for food, especially in the early morning and evening, and we can often see foam on the food, which is also a good fishing spot.
