The construction scale of the new campus is designed according to 1 1000 people, which runs through the design concept of "people-oriented, harmony between man and nature" and is planned according to the structural skeleton of "north-south main axis+ecological core circle+diversification". According to the function, it is divided into administrative exchange area, core teaching area, life service area, sports area, core ecological area and traffic vocational training area.
The old campus is located in Yuhua District, Changsha City, with convenient transportation and beautiful environment, covering an area of 230 mu and a building area of10.5 million square meters.
Administrative exchange area: located in the south of the campus, facing the main roads of the city, including the gate, administrative office building, Zhan Tianyou Square, parking lot, etc.
Core teaching area: located in the central and western part of the new campus, it consists of public teaching buildings, experimental training buildings of various departments and book information centers, and is directly connected with the core ecological area, sports and leisure area and preschool area. The teaching and experimental training buildings are arranged in an orderly way along the north-south main axis of its center.
Living service area: located in the north of the new campus, it consists of male and female dormitories, canteen activity center, affiliated rooms and supporting sports venues. The ecological core area is separated from other functional areas of the campus and directly connected with the urban roads in the north of the new campus, forming a self-contained system, cooperating with sports and greening leisure space, and forming a rich life service atmosphere.
Sports area: according to the actual terrain of the new campus and the principle of students' activities nearby, it is arranged on the west side of the campus, close to the living service area, and the interference to each functional area is reduced through the organic separation of the core ecological area, the core teaching area and the living service area.
Traffic vocational training area: located in the east half of the new campus, separated from the western functional area by the reservoir, in which the teacher dormitory area is considered in the northeast and has a separate entrance and exit. The traffic vocational training area mainly considers the socialized business model, with training buildings and driving training venues.
Ecological core area: located at the end of the north-south axis of the campus and in the center of the campus. The structure of greening system is "one heart, two belts and multiple points". Focusing on the ecological core area, the original mountain is transformed into an ecological core area, which echoes the teaching area and living service area in the south and north wings, forming the green core of the whole campus planning. These two belts are the central landscape green belt and the waterfront landscape belt. The central landscape green belt is combined with the entrance square and the ecological etiquette trail, and the green tree species reflecting the campus atmosphere are fully considered, and the sketch design is combined with the cultural atmosphere and ground pavement to form the main campus green landscape leisure belt. Waterfront landscape belt mainly combines the original reservoir setting of the base, and forms a lively waterfront landscape through the design of waterfront leisure trails and landscape towers. Multi-point refers to the combination of road design, comprehensive consideration of building functional layout, the formation of unique green landscape nodes, with open space and semi-open space as the main spatial forms, together with ecological core and landscape green belt to form a reasonable and orderly greening system. The whole ecological core area creates an elegant, quiet and cultural campus environment, allowing students to fly their ideals and tourists to linger.
The project construction of the new campus is based on the principle of one-time planning and two-phase construction. According to the requirements of the college, the first phase of the project was completed in June 2009. The specific projects included in the first-phase construction include: the first-phase public teaching building, the experimental training building of the Information Management Department, the administrative office building, the gymnasium, the playground, the library, the ABC building of the student apartment, the student canteen, the single apartment for faculty and staff, the driving training ground, the supporting houses for production and living, and the auxiliary facilities, with a construction area of 65 * *. After the completion of the first phase of the project, all departments can move except the automobile department and the mechanical and electrical department. By then, the construction area of teaching administration and living rooms of the whole college can meet the requirements of the Ministry of Education to establish a national model higher vocational college.
Library; The library of Hunan Communications Vocational and Technical College is located in the center of the campus, which is one of the landmark buildings of the college. The library building is a brand-new building that was completed and put into use on 20 10, with a construction area of 16000 square meters.
Graphic information center: new campus library, five-story square building. The color of the window glass blends with the color of the exterior wall, and the color is mottled and particularly conspicuous. There is an LED display screen nearly 30 square meters in size on the front wall of the library. Every night 18:30- 19:30, Hunan News Network and Central News Network will broadcast live. In order to create a comfortable reading environment for teachers and students, the library will provide air conditioning to adjust the temperature of the library in winter and summer.
