How do college students sign up as soldiers?

College students can sign up as soldiers at school or locally. After college students join the army, the original school keeps their student status, and they are allowed to resume their studies after leaving the army, which will not affect their studies. For outstanding college soldiers, priority is given to learning skills, selecting non-commissioned officers, applying for military schools and directly promoting officers.

Students in colleges and universities who voluntarily enlist in the army can retain their school status until one year after retirement; After leaving the army, students who are enlisted in the army will generally return to their original schools to resume their studies. If you really need to change your major, it's up to the school.

For students who return to their original school to continue their original professional studies after retirement, their school recognizes the achievements and credits of the courses they have completed. For those who have completed the course or completed four-fifths of the total class hours, but did not take the course examination because of enlistment, their school can determine their grades in the course with reference to their usual learning situation and give corresponding credits. If the major is suspended due to adjustment and other reasons, it can be resumed in a similar major with the approval of the school, and the scores and credits of the courses have been recognized according to the professional situation. Individual study difficulties, you can apply for an extension of study time.

After students join the army, the tuition fees paid in this academic year will be fully returned by the school. Students who are enlisted in the army will return to their original schools after they leave the army, and the tuition fees will be appropriately reduced. Family financial difficulties, give some subsidies; Enlisted students who are disabled in the line of duty during their service and have the ability to take care of themselves in study and life are exempted from tuition fees after returning to school, and the school gives subsidies for living difficulties as appropriate.

After the students who are enlisted in the army retire and resume their studies, the original undergraduates who apply for graduate students can be given priority under the same conditions. Former junior college students (including higher vocational students) who have won the Third Class Merit or been rated as "good soldier" for two consecutive years during their service can return to their original schools after retirement, and can be transferred to their major or similar majors for undergraduate study without examination. Belonging to independent college students, the school shall report to the Municipal Education Commission for coordination and arrangement.

Those who enjoy outstanding student scholarships before enlisting will be promoted to scholarship level after resuming their studies (excluding first-class scholarships). Those who have won the prize of Class II or above can walk the graduate students of this major without taking the test after graduation. Recruits who return during the isolation review or who are not suitable to continue military service and retire midway due to physical reasons shall be arranged by the original school to resume their studies.

Those who have not returned to active service after the expiration of service and wish to find employment shall be accepted by the veterans resettlement agency where their registered permanent residence is located before enlistment, and do a good job in resettlement according to the relevant policies and regulations of urban retired soldiers. Those who participated in the war or were injured and disabled in the line of duty were assessed by the army and issued revolutionary disabled soldiers' certificates. After retiring from active service, those who lose their ability to stand on their own feet and cannot resume their studies shall be properly placed in accordance with the relevant provisions of the state.
