China University Library &; Information system (CALIS) is one of the three public service systems in the "2 1 1 Project", "Ninth Five-Year Plan" and "Tenth Five-Year Plan" of higher education in China approved by the State Council. The purpose of CALIS is to integrate national investment, modern library concept, advanced technical means, rich literature resources and human resources in colleges and universities under the leadership of the Ministry of Education, and to build a joint guarantee system for educational literature with China Higher Education Digital Library as the core, so as to realize the * * * construction, * * knowledge and * * enjoyment of information resources, give full play to the greatest social and economic benefits, and serve the cause of higher education in China.
CALIS
Under the unified leadership of the Ministry of Education, China Academic Humanities and Social Sciences Library (hereinafter referred to as CASHL) adheres to the principle of "* * * construction, * * * knowledge and * * * enjoyment" and the policy of "integrated construction and distributed service". The literature guarantee service system for teaching and research of philosophy and social sciences in colleges and universities is an important part of the "prosperity plan" of philosophy and social sciences in colleges and universities of the Ministry of Education, and it is also the only literature collection and service center of humanities and social sciences in China, and its ultimate goal is to become a "national resource platform for philosophy and social sciences". The purpose of CASHL construction is to organize a group of university libraries with advantages in disciplines, literature resources and service conditions, introduce and collect foreign literature resources of humanities and social sciences in a planned and systematic way, combine centralized portal platform with distributed services, and rely on modern network service system to provide comprehensive literature information services for universities, philosophy and social sciences research institutions and workers across the country. CASHL was officially launched on March 15, 2004, and began to provide services. At present, it has collected more than 7,500 important foreign periodicals in the field of humanities and social sciences, more than 900 electronic periodicals and more than 200,000 electronic books, as well as databases such as the Catalogue of Foreign Periodicals in Humanities and Social Sciences in Colleges and Universities and the Joint Catalogue of Foreign Books in Humanities and Social Sciences in Colleges and Universities, providing database retrieval and browsing, interlibrary loan and original text transmission, as well as related consulting services. Any university can enjoy services and related subsidies as long as it signs an agreement with CASHL. At present, CASHL has more than 160 member units, including university libraries and other humanities and social science research institutions. The number of individual users exceeds 1.2 million. Received10 million retrieval requests, and received more than 6.5438+0.4 million original text delivery requests. CASHL's resource and service system consists of two national centers, five regional centers and ten subject centers, whose responsibility is to collect resources and provide services.

National Science and Technology Library National Science and Technology Library (NSTL) is a virtual science and technology literature information service organization established on June 6, 2000 according to the instructions of the leaders of the State Council. Its members include the Literature Information Center of China Academy of Sciences, the Engineering Library (China Institute of Science and Technology Information, Institute of Mechanical Industry Information, Institute of Metallurgical Industry Information Standards, China Chemical Industry Information Center), the Library of China Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Library of China Academy of Medical Sciences. Online institutions include China Institute of Standardization and China Institute of Metrology. The center has an office, which is responsible for the organization, coordination and management of the construction and sharing of scientific and technological literature information resources.

The company provides certification (such as WHQL certification and Microsoft Windows Mobile certification), quality assurance and benchmarking services. NSTL is the only authorized testing organization of Qualcomm TRUE BREW platform.
