The Forestry Department of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations is one of the operational agencies of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Founded in 1970, its predecessor was the Forestry and Forest Products Division established in 1964. It consists of the Ministry of Forest Resources, the Ministry of Forest Industry, the Ministry of Policy Planning and the Ministry of Implementation.
