Liu Bei always said that it was Wang Jing in Zhongshan. Could it be false? No one has verified it?

In the Western Han Dynasty, Liu Zhen, the son of Liu Sheng, the king of Zhongshan Mountain, was named Hou Ting of Lucheng, Zhuoxian County in the sixth year of Emperor Wu's reign.

Liu Bei is the blood of the Liu royal family in Zhuoxian County. According to the "reflection" records:

The deceased Lord, surnamed Liu, was born in Zhuoxian County, the son of the emperor and a descendant of Zhongshan.

Zushang, Zuxiong, Father Hong, from Shishi Prefecture. Xiongju Xiaolian, official to Fan Ling, East County.

Liu Bei is a descendant of Liu Sheng, the son of Emperor Jing of Han Dynasty, and Liu Bei's grandfather, Xiong Liu, was promoted to the rank of Xiaolian, with the rank of official in Fan Ling, Dongjun.

Why do some people doubt Liu Bei's identity? Because Liu Bei was born in 16 1, he has been far away from the founding emperor Liu Bang in time. Liu Bei is "a little lonely and engaged in the work of making mats with his mother."

That is to say, in Liu Bei's generation, the family is already relatively poor, and they mainly make a living by weaving straw sandals.

From the perspective of modern people, it is a bit suspected of pretending to be a royal family.

Three reasons can explain that Liu Bei's identity will not be false. First, during the Eastern Han Dynasty, the political and economic conditions of the royal family were very different. After the follwed period, they were basically civilians. Liu Xiu established the Eastern Han Dynasty and did not seal the descendants of Liu Bang. Because there are too many descendants of Liu Bang, Liu Xiu really neglected such a big family.

Moreover, the lineal clique later became the mainstream of the Liu family, and the descendants of the Western Han Emperor were even more unknown.

Second, Liu Bei's aristocratic habits are still there, and the clan relationship is still very clear. For example, Liu Bei didn't like reading very much since he was a child, but he "likes dogs and horses, music and beautiful clothes"

He attached great importance to the maintenance of clan relations, and together with Liu Bei, he worshipped his predecessor, Jiujiang Prefecture, with his compatriot Liu Deran and Gongsun Zan from western Liaoning, and studied with Lu Zhi from the same county.

Liu Deran's father Liu Yuanqi often subsidizes Liu Bei, who is relatively poor, and treats him and Liu Deran equally.

Liu's behavior also caused his wife's dissatisfaction, but Liu confidently said: "It is difficult to have such a child in our family, and he must be an ordinary person in the future."

Third, Liu Bei rose in his hometown. The fox preys farthest from home. They want to cheat, but they can't cheat Liu Bei, a villager in the village. "Less words, kindness, anger, invisibility." He likes to make friends with chivalrous men, and local teenagers are eager to attach themselves to him.

Zhang Shiping and Su Shuang, big businessmen in Zhongshan, have accumulated thousands of dollars of wealth and "sold horses everywhere" in Zhuo Jun. Seeing Liu Bei is very different, which means that there are strange goods to live in, so "make more money" and Liu Bei has the funds to recruit.

In fact, after Liu Bei became famous, many scholars went to verify it, but none of them proved that Liu Bei was an impostor. Just like academic qualifications, there are fewer postdoctoral fellows, and Liu Xiu's descendants are equivalent to master's degree or above. There are too many descendants of Jingdi, all over the street, equivalent to undergraduates.

At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, there were more descendants of Liu Bang, at least one million of whom were descendants of Liu Bang. So royal status is no longer a necessary and sufficient condition for success, just as people with diplomas may not be successful.

In a word, it has been proved that Liu Bei is indeed after Wang Jing in Zhongshan, but not many people have done careful reasoning like me.

To sum up, the political and economic conditions of the royal family at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty were very different. Liu Bei's aristocratic habits were still there, and the clan relationship was still very clear. Liu Bei's rise in his hometown all showed that Liu Bei was indeed a royal family.
