Why can't we gain a foothold in the enterprise?

For many college graduates, those big enterprises are a desirable place and a difficult place to survive. To talk about yearning, it must be because there is a greater chance of getting a high salary in large enterprises, and it is difficult to survive because large enterprises are the battlefields of fierce competition among countless elites. Everyone wants to climb, but there is only one position.

This is especially true for many college students who have just stepped out of the ivory tower. They are inexperienced and incompetent, and the only thing they have is the knowledge in books. These alone are not enough to gain a foothold in the workplace.

In fact, no matter which well-known enterprise in any industry, the talents they need have some common characteristics. And these can be obtained through practice the day after tomorrow.

First, understand management.

Big companies don't need geniuses and artists, and even if they do, they are only a small part. In a large enterprise, the person who can play the leading role is the person who can mobilize others. No matter where you are, you can't find a person who has no management ability at all, but can still make a name for himself in the company. Unless, of course, you have a genius for creativity and attraction. Like Honda's Shoichiro Honda, even a genius like him has to rely on Takeo Fujisawa to coordinate management.

Second, patience.

There are always fledgling newcomers who enter the company with reckless temper. They always forget that anyone should know the complexity of society. Large enterprises, in particular, should not only consider interpersonal relationships, but also consider interests. Stupid people, when they encounter things that seem unfair to them, will immediately make impulsive decisions or be eager to show their talents. In fact, many people are just used to being self-centered, so when something happens, they rebound strongly and feel intense. This is a fatal shortcoming for the survival of large enterprises.

Third, the sense of responsibility

The work of large enterprises is often not done by one person. He needs the close cooperation of many people on an assembly line to solve all kinds of complicated projects. Therefore, as long as any one person has a problem in the cooperation, the whole project will have great risks. The losses caused are incalculable. Therefore, people who can take their work seriously-even if that task is not what they like-are what enterprises value.

Fourth, "smart"

I once heard a story that a company is going to lay off employees, and the manager intends to lay off one of the two deputy ministers of the personnel department. Xiao Zhang and Xiao Li are two deputy ministers. They are always worried about being fired. Finally, the manager chose to lay off Xiao Zhang. Xiao Zhang is depressed, but he doesn't want to go to the manager. He intends to ask why. The manager asked Xiao Zhang, "What do you think of yourself in this position?" Xiao Zhang replied: "I think I have done a good job, and I have completed all the tasks assigned by my superiors." The manager said, "No, you have completed the task I gave you, but it is not enough to say excellent." Xiao Zhang: "But I finished it completely without any mistakes. Why is it not excellent? " The manager said, "Do you know where the gap between you and Excellence lies? If you and Xiao Li both investigate the price of watermelons in the market, you only give me a figure in the end, and Xiao Li gives me all the information about the types, quantity, price and quality of watermelons in each market. This is the gap between you and him. " Xiao Zhang was silent and left the company reluctantly.

The so-called cleverness is actually just thinking more and preparing more.

Five, clear turbidity and capacity

The dark side of society is always related to interests. When you face these problems, it is a dilemma whether to consider interests or morality. Some people abandon the bottom line or even violate the law for the benefit, and some people ruin the opportunity of the enterprise for their own conscience. And these two kinds of people are not needed by enterprises. They need people who can distinguish right from wrong, and can handle and balance the two properly. That is, a flexible person.

All of the above can be exercised deliberately in life and study before entering the workplace. For example, joining the student union, such as reading more books and reading some articles, time and sweat will make you a better person.
