This clematis has a strong vitality, symbolizing the revolutionary spirit of the martyrs that "the fire never goes out and the spring breeze blows high". The tomb is surrounded by a circle of granite walls. There are more than 40 dolomite railings embedded in the wall, and a stone lion sits on each railing. In front of the tomb, a large bluestone board is engraved with the eight characters of "Guangzhou Commune Martyrs' Tomb" inscribed by Zhu De, which is the tomb owner's tablet. 19871February1kloc-0/day, Guangzhou Municipal People's Government carved the inscription of Guangzhou Uprising on the east wall of the tomb.
In the east of the cemetery, there is an octagonal pavilion in the middle of the lake. On the pavilion, a plaque inscribed by Dong is hung. This pavilion was built to commemorate two martyrs, Chen Tiejun and Zhou Wenyong, who were captured and sacrificed after the Guangzhou Uprising and married in the execution ground.
