The process of stamping notarial certificate at the Korean embassy

South Korea's first registration: China parties should prepare three notarial certificates, namely, personal declaration of unmarried, kinship certificate and nationality certificate, which can be handled at the notary office where your household registration is located. Generally, notary offices are bilingual, and each 380 yuan (the price may vary from place to place) needs to be translated into Korean when you arrive in Korea (they also have a corresponding translation company). You can also appoint a translator in China Notary Office. Before going to the notary office, first open a letter of proof (used by the notary office) at the police station where the household registration is located, mainly including name, date of birth, ID number and family relationship (the police station generally knows how to write it). Just take this letter of proof and your ID card, household registration book and copy to the notary office, and you can get the certificate in 3-5 days. Then take the "Personal Notarial Certificate of Unmarried Declaration" to be certified by the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the other two notaries are unnecessary. This step can go through Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Guangdong, Hainan, Yunnan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Shandong, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Shanghai and Chongqing.

For specific related matters, you can make these calls and consult again.

After that, you mail all the certified notarial certificate of your unmarried statement (without re-certification by the Korean Consulate in China), copies of each page of your ID card and household registration book, notarial certificate of kinship, and notarial certificate of nationality to South Korea, so that things here in China can come to an end temporarily, and you can have a good rest for a while, and your wife can finish the rest in South Korea.

After your wife sends his certificate, if you have a "marriage certificate" (that is, the translation certificate of Korean household registration) and need to be certified by the China Embassy in Korea, then go to the police station where your household registration is located and change your marital status to "married". At the same time, you need to print a copy of the Confirmation Certificate of Household Registration Record, so that the police station can affix their official seal. Because your household registration book does not reflect your spouse's name, nationality and other relevant information, this document should be clearly written: XXX (from China) and XXX (from South Korea) were registered to get married in South Korea on a certain day of a certain year, and now the column of marital status of citizen XXX in our jurisdiction is changed to married according to the Korean marriage certificate (that is, the translation certificate of Korean household registration) certified by the Chinese Embassy in South Korea. The general police station will also print a "permanent resident registration card" for you at the same time, which clearly records the time when your marital status has changed.

Now you can call the Korean Consulate in China to make an appointment for a visa. As for the visa materials, China needs to prepare: 1. Passport, 2. Copy of ID card, 3. Original and photocopy of household registration book (with married record), 4. Confirmation certificate of household registration married record (issued by the public security organ), 5. Copy of notarization certificate of unmarried declaration (certification). As for 9. Korean spouse's household registration (Korean-Chinese international marriage facts are recorded, and Korean spouse's household registration is not cancelled), 10. Proof of economic status of Korean spouse (provide employment certificate, real estate registration book, rental contract, deposit certificate and other materials as far as possible), 1 1. China's spouse's membership guarantee in Korea. Notarization by Korean Notary Office is required), 12. International call records in the last three months, and 13. Invitation letter (issued by Korean spouse, recording details such as marriage and correspondence). ), these should have been given by your wife when she was in Korea.

Note: You can download the visa application form from the embassy website. You can ask your wife to take it to Korea to fill it out and send it together, or you can take it from the embassy when you send the visa materials to the embassy. But the form involves a lot of personal information about your wife, so you should know it in advance.

As long as your marriage is real, as long as your visa materials are prepared in full accordance with the requirements of the embassy, then there is no need to worry about the visa problem at all, no problem! It takes about 20-30 days from the time you prepare the first document to the time you get the visa.

Personally, I think it is better to register in China first. Because if you register in Korea first, although China admits that you are married, you don't have a marriage certificate. There are still many places in China that need marriage certificates. It's a souvenir even if it's not used, isn't it? Hehe ~ ~ Personal opinion, for reference only.
