Northwest Hydropower-Introduction

Northwest Hydropower was originally named Northwest Hydropower Technology. Northwest Survey and Design Institute of China Hydropower Consulting Group (hereinafter referred to as Northwest Institute) was established on 1950. It is a national first-class survey and design institute that provides comprehensive technical services for hydropower resources and new energy development. Services include project decision-making consultation, project evaluation, planning, survey, design, consultation, supervision, project management and general contracting, scientific research, test, bidding agency, post-project evaluation, dam safety supervision, etc. Since 1992, it has been ranked in the forefront of "Top 100 Units with Comprehensive Survey and Design Strength in China" every year. In 2008, the first batch was awarded the "Comprehensive Qualification of Engineering Design (Grade A)" by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, covering 2 1 piece of domestic infrastructure industry. It has more than 30 first-class qualifications, such as power industry first-class qualification, water conservancy industry first-class qualification, water conservancy and hydropower construction first-class qualification, project supervision and general contracting, and enjoys the right to operate and contract foreign projects approved by the state. In 2008, it was approved by the Quality Certification Company of China Classification Society and registered as a quality, occupational health and safety and environmental management system. In 2009, it obtained the qualification of national high-tech enterprise.
