From the above, we can see that the Buddhist precepts revealed by Brahma are a kind of "light drilling precepts" and a "Buddhist precepts" based on "self-purification" and "Buddha nature". This "Buddhist precept" originates from self-nature, that is to say, self-nature and Buddha-nature are the basis of Brahma Bodhisattva precept. The Tanjing, a collection of Zen Buddhism in Middle-earth, has twice quoted the viewpoint of Brahma Sutra, and the Bodhisattva Sutra says: precept comes from sexual purity. (Note: Mr. Yang thinks that precepts come from purity, Yu Huixin wrote "My element is self-purification", and Dunhuang of Suzuki School wrote "My element is self-purification". However, according to the contextual meaning and Buddhist principles in the original Sanskrit Sutra and Tanjing, the word "I" should be a misinformation of "Jie". For details, please refer to the Tanjing of the New Six Ancestors in Dunhuang edited by Yang Zengwen, Shanghai Ancient Books Publishing House, 1993, 10, page 20, the eighth proofreading. After quoting "abstinence from obedience and purity", the altar sutra immediately said: "Good knowledge must always be self-sufficient and has nothing to do with teaching." It can be seen that the essence of the Buddha amulet (Buddhist amulet) derived from self-purification is "no phase", which is the difference between the "Ten Commandments" Bodhisattva amulet and the Hinayana amulet. This point has been stated in the Brahma Sutra volume about the "indifference" of the bodhisattva's practice order and asking the bodhisattva disciples to get rid of the "bound things" under the volume. Holding the talisman of Mahayana Bodhisattva requires holding but not holding, holding and leaving the phase, and breaking the Mahayana holding and binding the phase. This idea stems from the penetration of abstinence into the wisdom of disfigurement.
Mahayana Zhongzong (Kongzong), represented by Dragon Tree, treats the precepts in the way of thinking that the truth of the Middle Way is nothing to send and neither side falls behind. It pays attention to self-discipline based on empty view, and it is based on getting rid of obsession and ignorance, "no phase" and "no phase", so the precept of not taking phase is the best (the highest precept). The Maha Prajna Sutra, one of the classics of the Chinese school of thought, said: "The Maha Sa Bodhisattva knows that all Buddhism has no phase, ... and can have paramita without phase. There is no shortage of anklets, no damage, no dyeing. " The Prajna Paramita Sutra of Awakening Self-nature says: "For example, Bodhisattva Mahathir seeks liberation by practicing precepts in Buddhism, but there is no gain from practicing precepts, and there is no gain from practicing precepts. Why, that is, color has nothing to gain from itself. ..... If you are a practitioner, you should know that it is the Bodhisattva Mahasa who practices the precepts in Buddhism. You must be Bodhi, and it is true that you want to know. " Dragon Tree's great wisdom says: "Nothing is too strong, not broken, not lacking, and the sanctuary praises love, so it is called keeping precepts in the world." If you are kind to all sentient beings, you will know the truth of the commandments and your heart will not be satisfied. If you keep this precept, you will be enlightened by Buddhism and Taoism in the future. If it is called the supreme precept of Buddhism and Taoism, you will also advocate "keeping the precept and giving, without touching your heart." This concept of "non-contact" and "keeping precepts" can also be found in Mahayana classics such as Baojijing. It is recorded in the Baodian that the Buddha and Mahayana said, "Come again, Ye Jia!"! Good practitioners have nothing to do with me; Doing nothing without doing anything; There is nothing to do and no author; No, no; Colorless and nameless; No phase is nothing more than phase; Nothing is immortal, but nothing is immortal; Nothing can be taken away and nothing can be given up; Nothing can be abandoned; No sentient beings have no names; Unintentional and nameless; Nothing more than the world; There is nothing to stop; Don't be conceited, don't quit others, and don't forget to leave; This is the commandment of the famous holy land. No leakage, no binding, no three realms, away from all laws. " The practice of "no self, no ego, no self-esteem, no contempt for other precepts and no consideration for other precepts" advocated in the scriptures is the highest realm pursued by Mahayana precepts and the supreme method to spread Zen Buddhism's "no phase precepts".
According to the Tanjing, Huineng was enlightened by reading the Diamond Sutra. (Note: Yang Zengwen proofreads Dunhuang New Edition Six Ancestors Tanjing, pages 5, 12 and 29. Zongbaoben's Tanjingxing Stamp Products also said: "Customers buy firewood, send it to the inn, and customers collect it. Huineng got the money, but when he went out, he saw a guest chanting scriptures. Huineng would be enlightened as soon as he heard the scriptures. Then he asked the guest what sutra he read, and the guest said, "The Diamond Sutra. "It is also recorded in Tanjing Hangyoupin that Hong Ren said" Diamond Sutra "for Huineng," If you have no place to live, your heart belongs, Huineng will understand what he said ". The Diamond Sutra is the essence of Prajna thought and wisdom of the Middle Way, so the thought of "leaving the phase and not going to the future" is not unrelated to the method of abstaining from the phase. The Diamond Sutra says: "Bodhisattvas should be separated from all bodhisattvas, not born with color, sound, fragrance and touch, but born without living." If the heart is alive, it is not alive. Huineng developed the idea of "no life without phase" into the teaching method of "no heart for teaching, no phase for the body and no life for the foundation", and created the "no phase-abstinence" method which integrates "four wishes", "repentance" and "three refuge".
