Maritime transmission, "from zero to top" has become a bright spot.

The characteristics of Qingdao torch relay route include showing Qingdao's coastal customs and urban construction achievements, showing Qingdao's unique charm as a sailing capital, reflecting the vigorous development of Qingdao's brand economy and port economy, and benefiting people along the way.

165438+1October 23rd, the10th Olympic Sailing Committee Chairman's Office Meeting adopted the Qingdao torch relay route in principle: each torchbearer carries 200m, and the torch relay route in our city is 27.6km long.

The torch relay route in Qingdao includes two parts: the city relay and the Huangdao relay. The city relay is mainly along the coast, which fully embodies the marine characteristics, sailing characteristics, brand economy and coastal scenery. The Huangdao Relay takes Qingdao Port as the carrier, showing the features of the times of contemporary industrial workers and the economic characteristics of Qingdao Port.

One of the highlights of the transfer process is maritime transfer. Qingdao will take the Olympic Sailing Base as the background and adopt various modes of communication such as maritime communication to show the unique charm of the sailing capital.

The zero base point above sea level is another bright spot in the transmission process. In 2008, the Olympic torch will reach the summit of Mount Everest, with the altitude of zero base point as the zero point of China people's national standard, echoing Mount Everest from a distance, reflecting the torch's "from zero to the roof of the world" transmission process, and further demonstrating that Qingdao, as the host city of the Olympic Sailing Competition, is booming with the help of the Olympic East Wind.

During the torch relay, there were 20 fully-functional vehicles to form an escort convoy, which ensured the smooth and safe operation of the torch relay. The motorcade includes media vehicles, police cars, finishing vehicles, command and communication vehicles, standby vehicles and torchbearers' dropping vehicles.

There are nine node activities along the route of the Olympic torch relay, namely Olympic Sailing Center, zero base point above sea level, Shilaoren Gold Coast, University District, Hong Kong Garden, Municipal Government, No.1 Bath, Trestle and Qingdao Port, which reflect the city characteristics from different angles through different activities.
