The Research Office of the State Council in People's Republic of China (PRC) is a the State Council office undertaking comprehensive policy research and decision-making consultation and serving leading comrades in the State Council.
Responsibilities:
(a) responsible for organizing or participating in the investigation and decision-making consultation on major issues in reform and opening up and economic and social development, and putting forward policy suggestions and opinions.
(two) responsible for drafting the "government work report", leading the organization to draft the important meeting documents of the State Council, and participating in the drafting of the important meeting documents of the CPC Central Committee.
(three) according to the instructions of the leading comrades of the State Council, independently or in collaboration with relevant departments to draft and modify the relevant important documents of the State Council, and draft some important speeches of leading comrades of the State Council.
(4) To analyze and study the economic situation at home and abroad, the economic policies and social development policies of major countries, and put forward policy suggestions. Collect, analyze, sort out and submit important information and trends of economic and social development, and provide reference suggestions for decision-making in the State Council.
(five) to undertake other tasks assigned by the State Council.
