Shizhuzen, also known as Chongshanshen, is produced in Shizhuzi Village, Zhenjiang Township, Kuandian County, Liaoning Province. Although ginseng grows slowly, it is not easy to rot, and it is suitable for cultivating long-lived stone ginseng. Shizhu ginseng, like wild ginseng, needs a farm variety with a long neck and a beautiful neck. According to the author's investigation, 97.6% of the local ginseng is of long neck type, and the remaining 2.4% is of Erma type without big horse teeth. In Shizhu ginseng high-producing area, long-necked ginseng is divided into spiritual body and stupid body, and the spiritual body has a high price. The price of common ginseng and first-class fresh ginseng is around 500 g in 30 yuan, and the marginal ginseng is around 75 yuan, while the white wine filled with ginseng can be sold for hundreds or even thousands of dollars, so local farmers choose to keep the white wine. According to the survey, about 80% of local ginseng is spiritual. The standard of spiritual body is slender and round neck, short body, no more than 5 cm, and looks graceful, like arms and lateral roots (legs) in various postures. The so-called stupid body refers to people with short and thick roots, ugly figure and lack of agility. Among them, the long and thick taproot is called shunben.
