The name of the ten countries is "big", but in fact there are many separatist regimes. In a narrow sense, the understanding of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms refers to the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms itself, and in a broad sense, it generally refers to this historical period.
Zhao Kuangyin was inspected in front of the temple during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period in the later Zhou Dynasty. Later, he planned a mutiny, "yellow robe added to the body", and began to unify the world and establish the Song Dynasty. In fact, the real unification of the Central Plains (excluding the North) in the Song Dynasty was basically completed after the death of Zhao Guangyi and Song Taizong.
