In the face of all kinds of questions raised by netizens, it is necessary for us to take the lead in understanding some basic situations of this law. On August 20th, the 30th meeting of the 13th the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) passed the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Protection of Personal Information. The Personal Information Protection Law came into effect on 202111. Among them, it is clear that information push and commercial marketing to individuals through automated decision-making methods should provide options that are not aimed at their personal characteristics or provide convenient refusal methods. Handling sensitive personal information, such as biometrics, medical care, financial accounts and whereabouts, should obtain personal consent. Applications that illegally handle personal information shall be ordered to suspend or terminate the provision of services. The implementation of this new law will better protect our personal privacy, and will also provide more and more reasonable law enforcement references for relevant law enforcement departments. The following is my personal view and understanding of the Personal Information Protection Law of People's Republic of China (PRC).

Today, with the highly developed Internet, our daily life cannot be separated from the Internet. However, in order to better facilitate their companies to push relevant content to customers, many Internet companies often access our personal information privately, which will cause very serious damage to our legitimate rights and interests. The appearance of this new law will better protect our personal privacy.
Two: to provide a better foundation for law enforcement
In the past, it was very difficult for the police to deal with such similar cases of personal information infringement, because the police could not make the final punishment standard for the relevant illegal acts, but with the implementation of the new law, it will also bring more convenience to our police law enforcement.
