5. Proof of no criminal record
(1) Mainland applicants do not need to submit personal proof of no criminal record. The applicant's proof of no criminal record shall be uniformly verified by the teacher qualification accreditation institution to the public security organ.
(2) Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents applying for the qualification of primary and secondary school teachers need to provide proof of no criminal record. The certificate of no criminal record shall be issued by the applicant to the relevant departments of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan Province Province.
