Is it really safe to carry out "safety education" for students?

Chatting with my son at dinner, my son said that he would go back to school tomorrow morning to receive safety education, saying that everything was boring and boring. This made Brother Hua suddenly feel that "safety education" was very interesting.

Brother Hua found that most of the safety education contents in our primary and secondary schools and even kindergartens are similar. For example, try not to go to crowded places; Don't accept things from strangers; Don't go to dangerous places, such as rivers, lakes, oceans and ponds. Wait, wait, wait.

It should be said that our safety education is very rich, involving almost all possible dangers; Attitude, attaches great importance to our society, schools, teachers and parents, all attach great importance to it. But why are our children so poor in safety awareness? Why are there so many safety accidents? Maybe educators should think about how to really implement safety education.

Brother Hua has several thoughts on this phenomenon:

First, safety education. How to avoid danger and stay away from dangerous environment is of course important, but when we are faced with danger, how to respond positively and how to protect ourselves? Is it more important? After all, the probability of "lying down" is still great. Our parents often say to their children: slow down, don't fall! But I won't tell my children how to run fast without falling down.

Second, the result of this kind of education is to let our children learn how to avoid failure, not how to pursue success! This also reflects that our educators (teachers, parents) themselves don't know how to pursue success, or that our educators are not confident in themselves and don't believe that they can succeed, so they don't believe that their children can succeed, so they are afraid to try, be afraid of failure and can't accept the consequences of failure, so they reduce their fear of failure through control and restriction.

In Ge Hua's view, the result of this kind of education is to cultivate a group of weak people who use "kindness" as an excuse and "good people" as their performance. They please, escape, shrink back, are naive, and are afraid of failure. What is more terrible is that they have not learned how to face failure and danger!

"Safety education", is it really safe? Fiona Fang, what do you think? ?
