First, what materials do I need to bring to the court to file a case?
(a) if the prosecutor is a natural person, submit a copy of the identity card or household registration book; If the plaintiff is a legal person or other organization, a copy of the business license or certificate of uniform code of social credit, and the identity certificate of the legal representative or principal responsible person (at the same time, the name, position, address, contact information and other basic information of the legal representative or principal responsible person shall be registered); If a legal person or other organization cannot provide a certificate of uniform code for social credit, it shall provide an explanation for canceling the certificate of uniform code for social credit;
(2) if the prosecution is entrusted, submit the power of attorney (indicating the entrusted matters and authority), the identity certificate of the agent and other related materials;
1. If the client is a lawyer, the lawyer's practice certificate and the certification materials of the law firm shall be submitted;
2. If the client is a grass-roots legal service worker, it shall submit the practice certificate of the legal service worker, the letter of introduction issued by the grass-roots legal service, and the certification materials that one party is located in this area;
3. If the client is a close relative of the party concerned, he/she shall submit proof of identity and supporting materials (such as household registration certificate, application for proof issued by villagers' committee, residents' committee and police station);
4. If the client is a staff member of the party concerned, he shall submit his identity certificate and proof of legal labor and personnel relationship with the party concerned;
5. Citizens recommended by the community or unit where the parties are located shall submit their identity documents, recommendation materials and certification materials that the parties belong to the community or unit;
6. Citizens recommended by relevant social organizations shall submit identity documents and certification materials that meet the requirements stipulated in Article 87 of the Supreme People's Court's Interpretation on the Application of the Civil Procedure Law of People's Republic of China (PRC).
(3) The name and address of the defendant and other specific information that can distinguish the defendant from others;
(4) The original indictment and copies corresponding to the number of defendants and other parties;
(5) Evidence or evidential materials related to letters and visits (referring to materials that are the basic conditions for prosecution).

2. What if I don't know the defendant's information?
1. If the defendant is an enterprise, please check and print it on the national enterprise credit information website;
2. If the defendant is an individual, it is best to provide a copy of ID card. If not, you need to provide your ID number, consult the court staff, issue an inquiry letter and go to the police station for inquiry.
3. You can also entrust a lawyer to the police station where the law firm is located to obtain the defendant's information.
Note: Some courts can make direct inquiries based on the information provided.
The people's court of our country implements the system of filing a case for registration, and the people's court shall accept all civil litigation complaints, issue documents and indicate the date of accepting the case. The people's court shall register and file a lawsuit that meets the statutory conditions on the spot, and shall explain those that do not meet the statutory conditions. In civil cases, the standard of bringing a lawsuit is stipulated in detail by law. Those who do not meet the conditions for filing a case will not be able to enter the proceedings.
