Save template

1. First select the designed pivotchart in the Excel worksheet, then switch to the design context tab of the pivotchart tool, and click the Save As Template button in the type option group, as shown in figure 1.

Application template

1. In the Excel worksheet, select the chart data source, switch to the Insert tab, and click the dialog launcher button in the chart options group, as shown in Figure 3.

2. In the open Insert Chart dialog box, click the Templates folder in the left navigation bar, and then select the previously saved chart template in the My Templates list, as shown in Figure 4.
