Liaocheng Railway Station was built in 1996, located at the intersection of Beijing-Kowloon Railway, Ji Jiao-Handan Railway and Liaotai Railway, 426km away from Beijing West Railway Station and1946km away from Shenzhen Railway Station. Liaocheng Railway Station passenger transport facilities renovation project is jointly invested and constructed by the Ministry of Railways and Liaocheng City. It is one of the key projects of Jinan Railway Branch of Jinan Railway Bureau and one of the top ten key projects of Liaocheng City. The project includes the reconstruction of lines, tunnels, overpasses, awnings, station buildings and related supporting projects such as electricity and communication, with a total investment of 430 million yuan.
