Anzi Village is located at 1.5km east of Xuejiadao Sub-district Office, at the foot of Dading Mountain, near the ferry pier (i.e. Island Ferry Pier) and across the sea from Qingdao. Because of the homonym of "An" and "An", it was later renamed Bei 'anzi Village, and in 1970s it was renamed Anzi Village.
