How to prepare for a recent interview with an ERP(SAP) intern, or what questions do examiners usually examine?

SAP implementation is mainly divided into two parts:

1. As a business module consultant, you should be proficient in the industry business process of the implemented module, at the same time, you should be clear about the system process and configuration of SAP module, and also be clear about the integration relationship between this module and other modules (for example, MM module should be clear about the integration relationship with PP, FI, SD, QM and other modules). Generally speaking, SAP consultants who are familiar with the market will have corresponding professional background before engaging in this profession (for example, FICO consultants may be financial personnel before) and are familiar with related industries. If you want to develop from business consulting, you should gradually get familiar with the management or workflow of related industries corresponding to the SAP module, and gradually get a deeper understanding of the SAP system. I started as an internship consultant, studied slowly, made several projects, accumulated experience slowly, and had high execution ability. Generally speaking, the more projects implemented, the more experience and the higher the gold content.

The other is an SAP development consultant. SAP has its own development platform (ABAP). You have experience in development and database. If you commit the crime of business consultant, you can also become an SAP development consultant. If the level is high, it is also popular. The development of development consultants basically depends on the program development specification (SPEC) written by business consultants or key users, so it is not necessary to be too clear about SAP business processes, just enhance functions or develop reports. Of course, if the front-end system processing flow and data source are clear, it will greatly promote your usual work.

PS: Some business consultants I have contacted also have IT backgrounds, but they have made much more efforts in the process of growing up than those who understand business.

At work, I suggest you study more, ask more questions, seize every opportunity of project implementation, and communicate with other consultants and key users. Master the methodology of ERP implementation as soon as possible, and be familiar with the steps and work contents in the project implementation process. If you have the energy, you can learn some business content or develop content. However, this industry is very hard and stressful, and it is normal to work hard.
