Brief introduction of China Electronics Technology Group

China Electronic Science and Technology Corporation (hereinafter referred to as China Electric Branch) is a large state-owned high-tech enterprise group established on the basis of scientific research institutes and high-tech enterprises directly under the former Ministry of Information Industry with the approval of the State Council.

The company has more than 80,000 employees, including academician of China Academy of Engineering 1 1, 487 national-level scientific and technological talents, and 265 people who enjoy special government allowances from the State Council. There are 15 state key laboratories, 4 research and application centers, 9 R&D centers and 20 postdoctoral research centers. It has a number of domestic first-class pilot production lines, production lines, assembly lines and processing centers, forming a relatively complete research, design, trial production, production and test capacity system and a complete quality assurance system. During the 60th anniversary of the National Day military parade in the capital, seven types of equipment, represented by Air Police 2000 and Air Police 200 early warning aircraft developed and produced by China Electric Power Department, respectively formed three independent phalanxes, namely air phalanx, radar phalanx and communication phalanx, for the first time for inspection. In the manned spaceflight project, the Ministry of Electric Power of China, as the deputy commander-in-chief, undertakes the important tasks in the seven systems of the manned spaceflight project, and is responsible for the development of measurement and control communication system equipment, radar detection equipment, solar cells and a large number of key components. In the lunar exploration project, China Electric Power Department, as the deputy commander-in-chief, undertook the development and production tasks of five systems, including satellite, launch vehicle, launch site, TT&C communication and ground application, and successfully completed the tasks. Among the 16 major projects announced by the state, China Electric Branch undertook important research tasks in several projects, especially in the preliminary demonstration and subsequent scientific research and industrialization of the first major project "Core devices, high-end chips and basic software", and undertook the planning and overall design work of the national science and technology project "VLSI manufacturing equipment and complete sets of processes".

The Ministry of Electric Power of China adheres to the development road of combining military and civilian, and actively participates in the national economic informationization and the construction of national key projects. It has successively undertaken the security command center system for the Beijing Olympic Games and the security project for the Shanghai World Expo, built the "Space Home Pavilion" for the Shanghai World Expo, the digital trunking communication system for the Guangzhou Asian Games and the national public emergency platform system, and undertaken a large number of major national information system projects such as the national e-government network, the national weather radar network, the air traffic management system and the rail transit system. In the rescue and relief of Wenchuan earthquake, Yushu earthquake and Zhouqu catastrophic mudslide, China electric power department provided advanced electronic information equipment and technical support, such as emergency command and communication, satellite navigation, meteorological detection, aviation electronic mapping, and plateau cooking support, which provided important support for the implementation of earthquake relief command by the CPC Central Committee.
