Liupan Mountain has always been known as "the mountain is three meters high in thousands of feet, and it is 200 meters dangerous to live in Qinguan". The main peak, Migang Mountain, is 2942 meters above sea level. Under the action of long-term internal and external forces, the strongly cut Zhongshan landform with a high altitude and a relative height of more than 400 meters has been formed. Among them, the relative height of Liangdian Gorge is more than 500 meters, and the cliffs in the gorge are extremely steep. At the same time, these topographical features cause the streams in the canyon to crisscross, and every time the water falls sharply, it will fly into waterfalls or fall into pools, forming pools, waterfalls, springs, streams, streams and other water landscapes.

The eastern slope of Liupan Mountain is steep and the western slope is gentle. It is a strong earthquake area, and an earthquake of magnitude 8.5 occurred in 1920 Haiyuan. The precipitation is a little more than the surrounding plateau. There is a small pine forest on the mountain, and the rest are grasslands. The southern section of Longshan, formerly known as Ban Long, is about100km long from north to south, with an altitude of about 2000m. The steep mountain peak is the dividing line between Weihe Plain and Longzhong Plateau.
