However, we are also soberly aware that although elements of modern science and technology have been introduced into the management and utilization of geological data in recent years, such as the digitalization of graphic geological data and the informatization of various established databases, the information service of geological data is still limited to the inherent mode in concept and method. At present, the main way to use the geological data in the library is that users come to the library for the purpose of project or engineering needs to consult and collect the data they need; The staff of the collection agency extracts the information needed for mining administration from the warehousing data, carries out secondary development and compilation, and provides technical support for government planning and management. The main method is that users go to the library in person and manually search for information that needs to be extracted (or copied) from paper (or electronic) materials. There are phenomena such as single purpose and single use of information collection, and repeated collection of one data for many times. The traditional service concept and mode restrict the potential value of geological data information.
The times are developing and technology is progressing. The traditional management and utilization mode of geological data can not well adapt to the development situation of diversification of investment subjects and modernization of data types in mineral resources development. The management level of geological data should keep pace with the times and the service ability should meet the needs of contemporary society. With the attitude of active service and open development, we will provide geological information services for the strategic breakthrough of geological prospecting in our province. According to the characteristics of the distribution of metallogenic belts in this province and the collection of geological information, combined with the strategic deployment of geological prospecting in provincial offices and the urgent needs of prospecting units, our library first selected Ningwu metallogenic belt (region) to integrate geological information, comprehensively integrate geological, mineral, geophysical and geochemical exploration, water environment, economic and social development and other materials formed in different periods in the region, collect relevant geological data of mines in the region, and organize experienced geological and mineral and related professional and technical personnel. Through the high integration and in-depth evaluation of all geological data information, the information value of geological data is excavated, and favorable metallogenic sections (belts) are delineated in combination with the characteristics of data information, which provides decision-making basis for the layout of prospecting projects of land and resources management departments and provides basis and foundation for all prospecting units to choose favorable breakthrough exploration areas; Avoid the waste of funds caused by repeated investment and win time for obtaining prospecting results as soon as possible.
3.2 Innovative mechanism to promote geological data collection

To this end, our library actively assists provincial and municipal land and resources management departments in building collection institutions. Its purpose is to rely on the functions of municipal land and resources management departments, as well as the advantages of being close to the submitter and easy to grasp the progress of work, effectively promote the submission of geological data in this area and strengthen the construction of geological data resources in Jiangsu. At the same time, it plays a positive role in the complete collection, standardized storage and full development and utilization of regional geological data.
This year, we will assist in the construction of the Geological Information Museum of Taizhou Land and Resources Bureau. In the future work, we will give full play to the business advantages of the provincial geological archives, undertake the task of personnel training and business guidance, and guide Taizhou Geological Archives to perform the management and utilization of geological data; Open the space of geological data information management, explore and summarize the methods and experiences of extending geological data management to cities (counties), and earnestly strengthen the construction of geological data information resources.
3.3 Collect general information and prepare corresponding products.
Establish an active concept, make use of the reusability of geological data, and do a good job in collecting public information. In view of the phenomenon that a data is repeatedly consulted and used, the relatively constant public information such as basic geology, mineral geology, water environment geology, physical and chemical remote geology, agricultural geology and urban geology contained in geological data is collected and extracted from all directions and angles, and the information is compiled in a general form. After the object and purpose of utilization are established, it will be reprocessed according to the different needs of different users, so as to provide counterpart service products in an economical and intensive way and provide users with comprehensive information services.
3.4 Strengthen the construction of talent team
Actively collecting all-round geological data and information requires not only the foundation of geology, but also the knowledge of computer, software development, mathematical statistics and other comprehensive majors; We need not only geological and mineral professionals with practical experience and comprehensive analysis and research ability, but also young workers who master modern science and technology.
