Peony Park was founded on 1956. It is a comprehensive cultural and leisure park with modern garden architecture style featuring Luoyang peony culture and integrating water entertainment and leisure.
The park is divided into peony viewing area, water recreation area, children's activity area and flower production area.
Peony viewing area: located in peony garden on the west side, peony mountain on the east side and peony altar on the north side. Peony in Peony Park is long-lived, vigorous, big, flowery and colorful.
Water recreation area: located in the central area of Peony Park, covering an area of 1 1 000 square meters, including high-altitude slides, circulating rivers, children's recreation pools, fitness pools, artificial wave-making pools, etc. It is the largest water recreation activity in western Henan.
Children's activity area: located in the north of Peony Park, covering an area of 9,400 square meters. There are bumper cars, bumper boats, small waterwheels, self-controlled aircraft, dance halls and other colorful leisure and entertainment activities.
Quiet rest area: located in Mudan Mountain, lawn, Sakura Garden and Bitaoyuan, it is the best place for morning exercise and fitness.
Flower production area: located in the northwest of Peony Park, with a planned land of 5,300 square meters, there are three greenhouses with an area of 220 square meters, with an annual output of about 200,000 pots of grass flowers and 30,000 pots of greenhouse flowers, which plays an important role in coloring and beautifying urban festivals and activating urban life.
