Haikou, nicknamed "Coconut City", the capital of Hainan Province, the strategic fulcrum city of the National Belt and Road Initiative and the core city of Hainan Free Trade Port, is located in the north of Hainan Island, with Wenchang in the east, Chengmai in the west, Ding 'an in the south and Qiongzhou Strait in the north.
