Tianhetan is a scenic spot dominated by typical karst natural scenery, supplemented by historical celebrity hermit culture. Wolong waterfall
Wolong Waterfall is more than 20 meters wide and 10 meters high. Wolong Waterfall in the upper reaches is combined with Wolong Lake, just like a water dragon in the sky. Every rainy season, the water slopes down from the beach, and the momentum is surging. Like the head of this hose, it is called "Wolong Waterfall".
Mengcaoyuan
Cao Meng Garden is the former residence of Wu Zhongfan (16 17- 1695), a famous poet in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. Wu Zhongfan was born in Cao Meng Pool in the west of Guiyang, with a strong character. In his later years, he was nicknamed the Mountain Man. This used to be Wu's former residence, and Wu Zhongfan lived in Tianhetan for a long time. Facing the beautiful Cangshan Mountain, strange caves and Bitan Lake, he wrote many beautiful poems and left a valuable cultural heritage.
Shibantan

History of Tianhetan Scenic Area:
Tianhetan, formerly known as Tiansheng Bridge, was named after the Ludi River formed a deep shaft pool through a dark lake and flowed out through Tiansheng Stone Bridge. At the beginning of 1990, Huaxi District Party Committee and District People's Government decided to develop Tianhetan into a scenic tourist area. After more than two years of development and construction, it was officially opened to the public on March 8, 1992. The scenic spot covers an area of 1.5 square kilometers, which is a typical thin-layer carbonate outcropping block with frequent folds, staggered faults, developed joints and obvious karstification. As a result, winding valleys and criss-crossing gullies have appeared in this area, and the whole scenic spot is divided into four tour systems: calcified beach waterfall, Xiangpaigou water culture, water cave cruise ship and dry cave tour.
Tianhetan Scenic Area has received more than 10,000 Chinese and foreign tourists 1.7 million since it opened for more than ten years. Central leaders Tian Jiyun, Zou Jiahua, Gu Mu, Jiang Chunyun, Wan Guoquan and Qin Jiwei. Visited Tianhetan, Zhang Ting, Xie Xiaosi and other celebrities have been to Tianhetan, leaving many Mo Bao. Wu Zhongfan, a famous poet, first discovered and praised Tianhetan. He once left eight poems of Tianhetan. Tianhetan Scenic Area, with beautiful scenery and pleasant climate since ancient times, was once the secluded place of Wu Zhongfan in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, leaving many hymns. However, due to the flood problem, it has not been well developed and utilized. "I am most afraid of oolong blowing conch, and there are wooden fish shells in the flood; Cattle and horses rushed into the Yintan River, barking dogs and ghosts. " This ballad seems to have faded, but as a villager near Tianhetan, it still haunts me. It is a true portrayal of 1990 Tianhetan water conservancy reform.
Since 1990, Huaxi People's Government has set up the headquarters of Tianhetan Development Project, vigorously planted trees and opened up underground river passages, thus solving the flood problem.
After more than two years of development and construction, it was officially opened to the outside world on March 8, 1992. Tianhetan has since become a good place for everyone to travel.
On June 28th, 2008, 165438+ Tianhetan Scenic Area passed the AAAA audit and officially entered the ranks of national AAAA tourist areas.
