From the analysis of vehicle types, the quality of the two brands is not much different for cars, and the horse brand is slightly better than Bridgestone. There are more horse brands sold in the market than Bridgestone, and the market recognition is higher; Bridgestone is superior to Mapai for trucks and buses, which is more wear-resistant and has lower failure rate. In terms of market share, Bridgestone is much more than horse brand.
Use and maintenance of tires:
(1) Safe storage
All tires should be stored in a cool, dry and dark room, and avoid being placed near sunlight, oil, acids and hydrocarbons, which will corrode tires. Due to pressurization, liquid may enter the carcass layer through the inner airtight layer of the tire, resulting in sudden damage to the tire.
(2) Tire maintenance
Changing the tire position in time, choosing the appropriate tread pattern, regular maintenance, regular inspection of tire pressure, timely repair after damage, and often digging out stones and foreign bodies in the tire tread pattern are important factors to prolong the service life of the tire. After a period of use, tread wear will be very different due to the influence of pavement camber, braking and different tire assembly positions.
Therefore, it is necessary to transpose and assemble in time, so that each tire can take turns at each position, and the load borne by each tire is roughly the same, so as to solve the problems of eccentric wear and prolong the service life of the tire. The commonly used methods of tire transposition are "cross transposition" and "cyclic transposition".
When old and new tires are mixed, when the new tires are better, the new tires or better tires are fixed on the front wheels, and the old tires or refurbished tires are fixed on the rear wheels, so the methods of left and right transposition and internal and external displacement are adopted.
When changing the original rolling direction after transposition, the tire should be reversed (that is, changing the loading position and rolling direction). This is a measure to reduce or even eliminate tire eccentric wear chamfering and tire shoulder fatigue, and it is also a method to prolong tire service life and improve retreading rate.
(3) Ensure the standard air pressure
Master the inflation standard of tires to ensure that the tire pressure is within the specified value. Too high or too low tire pressure will increase wear and reduce mileage. When the tire pressure is lower than the standard value, the shoulder wear increases sharply;
When the tire pressure is higher than the standard value, due to the decrease of the tire contact area and the increase of the unit pressure, the wear in the middle of the tire tread increases, and the tire rigidity increases, which increases the dynamic load on the wheel and easily leads to tire puncture. When driving on uneven roads or at high speed, the impact is more serious.
(4) controlling tire temperature
When the car is running, the tire temperature rises due to deformation and friction. When it reaches above 100℃, the strength of the matrix is greatly reduced, which is easy to cause delamination, explosion and other damage. Tire temperature is difficult to measure, and it is usually judged according to the degree of tire pressure increase. The higher the tire pressure, the higher the tire temperature.
When the ambient temperature is higher than 30℃, the degree of tire pressure increase should not exceed 20% of the inflation standard. Due to poor heat dissipation conditions, the tire temperature can easily exceed 100℃. When driving in high temperature in summer, if the tire temperature is too high, stop in the shade to cool down naturally. It is forbidden to use cold water and deflate to reduce temperature and pressure.
Because pouring cold water will suddenly cool the tire, and the shrinkage of each part is uneven, which is easy to produce cracks and affect the service life. When the weather is hot, if there is a section that needs to be waded on the way, you should stop to cool down first, so as not to adversely affect the tires.
If the air is deflated on the way, although the tire pressure drops, the tire temperature does not drop, but the original balance condition is destroyed. When you continue driving, the tire temperature will continue to rise on the original basis until the heat and heat dissipation of the tire reach a balance again. At this time, the tire temperature is much higher than the original, causing serious damage to the tire.
(5) The influence of driving habits on tires
A smooth start. Due to the sudden rotation of the wheel from the stationary state, the tire will have severe friction with the road surface, which will accelerate the wear of the tire crown.
Drive at medium speed. When the vehicle speed changes from medium speed to high speed, the tire mileage will be reduced by 15%. In addition, the higher the vehicle speed, the greater the wave vibration frequency. When the vehicle speed reaches a certain critical speed, the wave deformation on the tire crown surface will obviously increase, forming a static waveform. This is the standing wave phenomenon of tires.
When the standing wave phenomenon occurs, the tire will be out of round, the tire temperature will rise sharply, and the ply and tread will fall off and scatter, which may lead to tire damage or serious traffic accidents.
Try to avoid emergency braking. During emergency braking, the wheel changes from rolling to dragging, resulting in friction between the tire and the road surface and serious wear due to overheating. If emergency braking is often used at high speed, it will generate a lot of heat, causing tire aging and malignant damage.
(6) Routine inspection before driving
Before driving, check the tires for bulges, cracks, cuts, nails, deflation and abnormal wear, and repair them immediately if found. Check whether there are foreign objects such as sundries, metal pieces and glass. On the tread pattern. If you find it, please take it out with a screwdriver.
Check the fastening of the tire fixing nut, and tighten it in time if it is loose. If it is found that the tire pressure is lower than 20% of the standard, the tire must be removed from the nearest tire shop as soon as possible and checked by professionals. Pay attention to whether the rim of the car body is deformed, cracked and damaged, so as to facilitate driving safety.
