There are three kinds of paternity testing, namely, judicial paternity testing, personal paternity testing and non-invasive fetal paternity testing. For the judicial paternity test, the parties can go through the entrustment procedures through the paternity test consultation center, the court and the law firm, or they can entrust it directly in person. The parties concerned shall provide the original ID card, the birth certificate of their children (or household registration book) and other documents to prove their identity and relationship. The staff will check the identity documents at the sampling site. All appraisers must go to the site in person and be sampled by professionals. After checking the identity of the parties and the power of attorney, the laboratory appraisal is started. This appraisal report is only sent to the client for signature. Personal paternity test, the parties need to choose a formal institution for personal privacy paternity test and make an appointment in advance. Personal privacy paternity test samples can be collected by agency staff at the site of the appraisal institution, and the client can also make an appointment for staff to collect at home, or collect samples by himself and mail them to the appraisal institution. Non-invasive fetal paternity test during pregnancy needs to collect venous blood of pregnant women, or amniotic fluid or chorion. The samples will be sent to the laboratory for identification experiments after being checked and judged to be effective by the personnel of the institution. The above are the basic processes and materials needed for paternity testing.
