20 10, firewood maker space was formally established. As the first maker space in Shenzhen, it carries a point of persistence, a belief, and of course, it finally brings a chance for Shenzhen makers to twist into a rope.

Eric, the founder, likes to play with all kinds of hardware since he was a child, from hand-made to DIY computers to universities. He loves all kinds of projects and competitions. Finally, following my inner interest and love, I left the field of international trade and successfully joined the creative design of open source hardware. During my stay in Maker Faire, USA, I visited Hackerspace all over the world and was deeply attracted by the open, relaxed and creative maker environment. With the encouragement of the local maker team in Shenzhen, I directly transformed the old office into a maker space. "Run in Small Steps" and "Product 2.0" are his incisive summaries and prospects for his entrepreneurial experience and future open source hardware. In the future, there will be more maker space than coffee shops and more lively than KTV. People from different backgrounds will get together, spark and create dreams.
