Can a university change its major?

You can't.

As long as it is within the scope stipulated by the Ministry of Education, college students can change their majors. If students choose a major they don't want when they first enter school, or are transferred to other majors because their scores are too low, they can apply for a major change after entering school. There are performance requirements for changing majors, and students should be prepared in advance.

Circumstances in which you can change your major:

If you can't change your major:
