By 2022, the college will cover an area of 503,000 square meters, with a building area of 296,000 square meters and 5 16 faculty members. Five provincial-level teaching reform pilot majors, three provincial-level demonstration majors and 1 provincial-level characteristic majors have been built, and six colleges have been established, including E-commerce College, Sino-German Novo Automobile College, Debiao Dental Technical College, Zhongxing Information College and Xianshun Art College.
Liaoyuan Vocational and Technical College was established in July, 1999. It was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education and sponsored by Liaoyuan Municipal People's Government.
