6. Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, founded in 1956, is one of the first four universities of traditional Chinese medicine in China after the birth of New China. 7. Chongqing Medical University

Chongqing Medical University was founded on 1956. Founded by Shanghai First Medical College (now Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University), it moved to Chongqing. Its original name was Chongqing Medical College, and 1985 was renamed Chongqing Medical University. The school is one of the first units approved by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee with the right to confer doctoral and master's degrees. In 2008, the strategic cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Education and Chongqing identified the school as a key university.
